LOCAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

CAE Rive-Nord actively supports local economic development in its community. With a wealth of expertise, extensive knowledge of the environment and know-how, CAE Rive-Nord accompanies, supports and initiates real projects to boost the local economy and maintain and create sustainable jobs in our region.

    *Development of supply chains for recyclers and industrial synergies in partnership with Synergie économique Laurentides, the SADC des Laurentides, the City of Saint-Jérôme and the ministère de l'Économie, de l'Innovation et de l'Énergie

    *CODÉV - Solutions RH, a project in collaboration with the Chambre de commerce et d'industrie Rivière-du-Nord and Services Québec
    *The local and regional OSEntreprendre Challenge in collaboration with the Rivière-du-Nord RCM and the Chambre de commerce et d'industrie de Mirabel

    *Premiers pas en entrepreneuriat [My First Steps as an Entrepreneur], a series of workshops to demystify entrepreneurship for young people at the Carrefour Jeunesse-emploi Rivière-du-Nord
    *Carrefour Jeunesse-emploi Rivière-du-Nord's Networking Brunch connects young entrepreneurs with established business leaders to foster collaboration on entrepreneurial projects
    *Training Mieux comprendre mes chiffres [Gaining a better understanding of my numbers]
    *Training Boostez votre impact en ligne pour les Fêtes (Boost your online impact for holidays)
    *Training on Law 25 in collaboration with the Saint-Jérôme métropolitain, Argenteuil and Mirabel chambers of commerce and industry and the La Rivière-du-Nord RMC
    *Service aux entreprises Rivière-du-Nord's seminar Propulsion Main-d'oeuvre (workforce boost) in collaboration with Services Québec and provincial and federal elected officials
    *Employés heureux; gage de succès (Happy employees- the key to success) project carried out with the La Rivière-du-Nord RCM, the Chambre de commerce et d'industrie Saint-Jérôme métropolitain and Services Québec *S'Inspirer pour se développer Journée pour les entrepreneurs (Inspiration for growth-entrepreneur day) in collaboration with the Chambre de commerce et d'industrie d'Argenteuil, Services Québec, Desjardins Entreprises Laurentides ans the Argenteuil RCM
    *Saint-Jérôme Branché (Saint-Jérôme connected) presented by the Chambre de commerce et d'industrie Saint-Jérôme métropolitain in collaboration with several local partners
    *Petite séduction des infirmières étrangères dans Argenteuil (Attracting foreign nurses to Argenteuil) in collaboration with Argenteuil RCM, CISSS des Laurentides and MIFI
    *The local and regional OSEntreprendre Challenge in collaboration with La Rivière-du-Nord RCM and the Chambre de commerce et d'industrie de Mirabel
    *Station Saint-Jérôme (Destination Saint-Jérôme), a day-long event aimed at attracting new immigrant workers to Saint-Jérôme les by the City of Saint-Jérôme, in collaboration with the CIE Laurentides and several recruitment and education partners

    • Two training courses for companies (one for start-ups and one for those in operation for over two years) entitled: Mieux comprendre mes chiffres [Gaining a better understanding of my numbers]

      ·       The Sommet de l'innovation presented by the Chambre de commerce et d’industrie Saint-Jérôme métropolitain, and in partnership with Connexion Laurentides, the City of Saint-Jérôme and the MRC Rivière-du-Nord

      ·       Partnership with UQO - Saint-Jérôme campus to organize the Démystifions le sociofinancement [All about crowdfunding] evening and to help mark the 10th anniversary of the GREL
